Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Corporate Grower to manage our in-house vertical farm. This role is essential for driving the success of our R&D initiatives and ensuring the highest standards of crop production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hydroponic and vertical farming systems, with a strong background in plant science and cultivation.
Manage daily operations of our in-house farm, including planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops.
Develop and implement growing protocols to optimize plant health, yield, and quality.
Monitor and adjust environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and light to ensure optimal growth.
Use AGEYE’s AI and IoT technology to track and analyze crop performance.
Conduct experiments and trials to evaluate new growing techniques and technologies.
Maintain accurate records of plant growth, nutrient levels, and environmental conditions.
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and refine our vertical farming systems.
Be accountable for maintaining a neat and orderly farm facility.
Train and supervise farm staff and interns as needed.
Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in controlled environment agriculture and hydroponic production of food crops.
Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Agronomy, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of hands on experience in hydroponic or vertical farming.
Strong knowledge of plant physiology, nutrition, and pest management.
Experience with environmental control systems and automation technology.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve crop performance.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
