We are delighted to announce a virtual visit to a community pub for new and early stage community pub groups, their wider volunteer networks and potential employees/tenants on 3rd March 2021.
At 12.30pm, Plunkett’s More than a Pub project (funded by Power to Change) is taking you on a virtual visit to The New Inn at Norton Lindsey, Warwickshire, a pub both owned by and serving a very rural farming community.

Join Plunkett business adviser Sally Soady in conversation with The New Inn “Salvation Squad”, the locals that own this wonderful pub in the small village of Norton Lindsey to hear about their journey to community ownership, what it means to them, and how it all came about.
This award-winning pub is in the Good Beer Guide 2021 and the people that own it are a real inspiration.
The virtual visit will last one hour in total, and will include a Q&A session for participants to put their questions to Sally and the group, and is perfect for newly formed community groups or those in the early stages of working towards saving a community pub.
The More than a Pub Project
The More than a Pub project is funded by Power to Change. Under the project the Plunkett Foundation has been able to offer support to communities in rural and urban locations across England to help them save their local pub through community ownership.
