The Role With The Company

The Sr. Human Resources Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and has responsibility for leading, creating, and enforcing the company’s human resources.

Background Profile

Work with C-Suite to develop, foster, live, and grow company culture, mission, and vision with all employees of the company
Oversee full employee life-cycle: from hire, termination, retire.
Oversee full-cycle recruitment process; Employ traditional sourcing strategies, actively network and employ innovative, creative recruiting methods to hire the best talent
Facilitate and coordinate recruitment and selection process, policies and procedures

Develop, Review, And Approve Job Descriptions

In partnership with the Operations leaders, define and review salary structure and benefits plans and communicate changes or updates
Lead the performance management including creating a plan to manage annual reviews, conduct training on goal-setting, utilize budgets to organize development activities and work one-on-one with managers and employees
Lead all employee relations with professional grace; lead investigations to resolve issues/conflict in the workplace with close collaboration with operations leaders
Act as an impartial mediator in disciplinary procedures and ensure it is administered in an equitable and fair manner and meets all legal and labor regulations and requirements
Ensure all Generalist HR activities are carried-out
Lead implementation for Operating Policies and Procedures
Responsible for HR-related administrative duties and ensure they are compliant with existing legal and government reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with all labor laws, and minimization of legal exposure
Demonstrated ability to identify, recommend and implement best practice approaches that deliver rapid, consistent, high-quality HR management and service

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources strongly preferred)

10+ years experience in Human Resources Management (talent acquisition, generalists, etc.)
Demonstrated success as an HR generalist supporting employee groups of 50+ employees in multiple locations within a region or global environment required
Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment and on deadline; aptitude for problem solving and decision making needed
Demonstrated ability to identify, recommend and implement best practice approaches that deliver rapid, consistent, high-quality HR management and service
Knowledge of Kronos / HRIS systems preferred
Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
