The Centre for Urban Greenery and Ecology (CUGE), a division of the National Parks Board, conducts applied research, skills training and industry development for various aspects of urban greenery and ecology, including arboriculture, urban ecosystems,
sustainable landscaping, and people-plant/animal interactions. Our vision is to be the regional centre for advancing and sharing knowledge in the use of greenery and ecology to enhance our tropical urban living environment.
As part of the Industry Development team, you will be required to manage the lease/tenancy for farm use. Your job involves processing requests for farming on state land and private entities. You will also be involved in the planning and development of
the agri-business industry. You will support the Project Team in administration schemes and system support functions. Job responsibilities include supporting the respective Manager in the preparation of Management Reports, project updates, provide weekly reports where necessary. In addition, you will occasionally be required to assist the division and staff in other duties. Areas to be covered include: Scheme Administration, Project Facilitation and Events Organisation.
The duties will include:-
Perform a wide range of operational, administrative and functions including documentation and filing
Vetting of plans on states land to meet development requirement
Provide positive customer engagement and facilitation
Collate relevant information for reports
Document client discussions, meeting minutes
Attend site meetings and coordination with agencies
Diploma in any Estate Management, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Engineering, or related Business discipline
Advantageous to have at least a year of relevant working experience in consultancy, design or engineering
Basic knowledge of reading and understanding of technical drawings for buildings, earthworks and infrastructure projects
Competent in technical software such as AutoCAD
Has good practical knowledge of business operations and processes including computerised systems
Good written & verbal communication in English and proficient in Mandarin or
another second language to be able to communicate effectively with the stakeholders.

Able to demonstrate resilience and ability to thrive in fast paced environment and able to work under pressure and tight deadline
Pro-active, independent, resourceful and able to work well with a team
