Director of Development – Rainmaker
Goodwill Works Foundation seeks a creative dynamic high energy development leader to increase philanthropic support for the mission initiatives of a growing $45 million nonprofit that operates a career college (www.helms.edu) and numerous applied learning social enterprises (www.edgarshospitality.com).
Reporting to the President/CEO the Director of Development will be responsible for growing a culture of philanthropy and achieving comprehensive campaign fundraising goals.
Critical to Director of Development’s success is the ability to leverage demonstrated fundraising skills, leadership abilities, and effective management practices in a mission-driven social enterprise. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and five years of progressive experience working in development management required. The ideal candidate will have professional experience directing successful capital campaigns with a verifiable track record of major gifts personally secured. Relationships both in both corporate giving and foundation world will be important. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional written and public speaking skills and should be creative, energetic and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Augusta and Macon, Georgia
Goodwill Works Foundation has corporate offices located in Augusta and Macon, Georgia.
