NFT vs DWC for leafy greens. Which performs better?

Setting up a small commercial operation for lettuce and herbs. I have been going back and forth between NFT channels and deep water culture. NFT seems more space efficient but DWC looks simpler to maintain. Anyone running both who can share real numbers on yield per square metre and labour time?
