Energy costs are killing vertical farming. Solutions?

Electricity is by far my biggest cost. Running LEDs 16 hours a day plus HVAC adds up fast, especially in the UK where energy prices have been brutal. Anyone found ways to significantly reduce energy costs? Solar panels, off-peak tariffs, more efficient lighting? Or is this just the reality of indoor farming and we need to accept it and price accordingly?
