Converting a shipping container into a farm. Worth it?

I can get a used 40ft container for about 2000 GBP. Thinking about insulating it and setting up a hydroponic system inside. Has anyone done this themselves rather than buying a Freight Farms or similar? Main concerns are condensation, temperature control in summer, and power supply. The container would sit in a field with mains electricity available.
