From the DE&S graduate scheme, two graduate engineers will share insights from experience in entry-level positions in engineering.

What’s an entry-level job in engineering really like?

DE&S Graduate Engineers Alexa and Seren will share insights from their first two years working in engineering, having completed multiple placements spanning from disruptive innovation within defence to vertical farming.

They’ll discuss highlights and ‘what to expect’ along with opportunity for Q&A.

Our talks are semi informal sessions that encourage audience participation and in-depth topic discussion. Some of our talks encourage you to interrupt the speaker with your questions whereas the talks that have a designated 30 min Q&A slot will evolve into a larger ‘Lets Talk’ session towards the end.
