About the Procurement Team
The procurement team is responsible for acquiring goods and services by selecting suppliers, establishing payment terms and good supplier relationships, negotiating prices & contracts,  and ensuring on-time delivery of those goods.  The team works on strategies to optimize the order-to-pay process, cost reduction & product optimization. Have in mind: we sit in Berlin – Spandau.

Responsibilities
The category manager will manage the entire Indirect spend & supplier portfolio. This includes but not limited to, supplier qualification, terms and conditions execution, negotiate pricing, stakeholder and supplier relationship management.

 

Profile Indirect categories and identify savings leverages
Work cross-functionally with various team and support definition of Infarm policies
Negotiate agreements by analysing supplier quotations and terms, achieve the best global commercial condition
Work intimately with the Stakeholders to help steer the selection to preferred suppliers and utilize this leverage to obtain the most competitive pricing
Act as regional Lead for indirect purchasing and assist with global initiatives as assigned
Locate new sources of supply and establish new suppliers
Develop and maintain the relationship with suppliers
Conduct supplier performance evaluations/supplier assessments
Requirements
4-years’ experience in Indirect procurement
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs
Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken)
Ability to take ownership and work towards tight deadlines
High attention to detail
Adaptable and flexible personality that thrives in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment
Ability to influence cost saving initiatives
Strong skills in supplier management and relationship building
Experience in working with Microsoft Office and Google Suites
